*** IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE ***   TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Dear Community,

We know that we are not the only Canadians affected by this health care crisis. We applaud all those health care workers who are on the front lines of this pandemic and we send our love and comfort to all those who are directly affected by the virus.

In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak and the recommendations made by Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Premier of Ontario Doug Ford, our office will be closed until further notice as the province has declared a state of emergency to contain the spread.

Our patient’s health is extremely important to us and we want to make every effort to reduce the risk of possible infection. We have made all necessary attempts to contact anyone with an appointment during this closure and we do apologize to all our patients for the inconvenience.

This virus is now considered to be a transmitted through community contact. Please follow these guidelines to reduce your risk:

- Leave 6ft between each other

- Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds each time

- Do not touch your face, eyes or mouth

- Report to a public health facility if you have a fever, cough or sore throat

For more information, please visit https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19.html for further updates.

Please stay safe during this time and take every precautionary measure to avoid infection and transmission of this disease.

Thank you,

Dr. Witzu and staff

Have a Tooth Pulled at Our
Chelmsford Dental Office

For various reasons, sometimes a tooth will need to be pulled (or extracted). We will discuss the reasons the tooth should be pulled, as well as alternative treatment options. Some of the most common reasons for a tooth extraction include:

  • Severe Tooth Damage/Trauma
  • Malposition of Teeth
  • Orthodontic Treatments
  • Extra (Supernumerary) Teeth

If you are experiencing pain due to a diseased or damaged tooth, we recommend visiting Chelmsford Family Dentistry. If you have a dental emergency, a phone call to our office can help us prepare for your arrival.
