Good News!!

The office is now open for cleanings!!!

We have a dentist to take care of important dental issues.

We are calling patients to book appointments, but if you have not been called yet, please call the office and leave your name and telephone number. We will call you back.

The receptionists are answering the phone at slightly different hours depending on patient bookings. If the answering machine is on, please leave a message.

We have made changes for your 100% protection, with tempered glass encasing the front desk and hand sanitizers. Only one person may be present at one time at the Reception unless you are accompanying a special needs person or a child.

Your outdoor shoes must be left at the entrance - please bring slippers or socks for your feet. Please use the washroom at your home before attending the office.

You will be screened for COVID-19 and your temperature will be taken.

We are excited to have you back and want you to know that Dr. Witzu is improving and is aiming to be back as soon as the doctors agree.

dental implants

Replace One, Several or All Your Teeth with Implant-Supported Dentures

One of the best ways to replace missing teeth is through the use of dental implants. Implants provide a very stable base, allowing a number of options to create a highly realistic smile.

Dental implants are artificial roots and teeth (usually titanium) that are surgically placed into the jawbone. The teeth attached to implants are very natural looking and often enhance or restore a patient’s smile!

Our office realizes the value that dental implants present for patients. As such, we are proud to provide you with any number of dental implant solutions.

Reasons for dental implants:

  • Most Natural Feel
  • Replace One, or Many Missing Teeth
  • Alternative to Ill-Fitting Dentures
  • Restore Chewing
  • Restore Confidence
  • 90% Chewing Capacity (Compared to 20% with Dentures)
  • Prevent Embarrassing Dental Conditions
  • Enhanced Speech
  • No Cavities or Temperature Sensitivity
  • No Need to Compromise Adjacent Teeth

What does Getting Dental Implants Involve?

The process of getting implants requires a number of visits over several months. X-rays are taken of the jaw and teeth to determine bone, gum tissue, and spacing available for an implant. While the area is numb, the implant will be surgically placed into the bone and allowed to heal and integrate itself onto the bone for around 4 months. Depending on the type of implant, a second surgery may be required in order to place the “post” that will hold the artificial tooth in place. With other implants the post and anchor are already attached and placed at the same time.

Once the titanium implant is "fused" with the jawbone, the artificial teeth are made and fitted to the post portion of the anchor. The artificial teeth are securely attached to the implant, providing excellent stability and comfort to the patient.

You will receive care instructions when your treatment is completed. Good oral hygiene, eating habits, and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new implant.
